Inaugural Exhibition
KISS PATTERN
April 26, 2025 — June 22, 2025
Kiss Pattern gathers together a collection of works centered around handmade mark-making with subjects deeply rooted in nature. A kiss pattern, is the repetition of touch over and over as long as it holds. Each touch adding to the overall impression, leaving a lingering mark. The repetitive, careful processes the artists use to create their works, each imprint builds upon the last.
The work showcases the artists sensitivity to materials, crafting works that explore the delicate balance between form and texture. Works range in media from drawings and painting to textiles and mixed media sculpture.

There is a meditative quality, a rhythm that resonates in the viewer’s body as much as the eye. Some pieces hum with detail, requiring patience and proximity, while others assert their presence through an earthy, textural gravitas. The exhibition doesn’t seek spectacle but instead invites a kind of close looking, where slowness becomes a virtue. In this way, Kiss Pattern feels less like a group show and more like a collective whisper—an invitation to consider the ways in which contact, repetition, and natural materials can yield forms that are at once ephemeral and enduring.
